My name is Robert Miller some of you in the marching world may have met me either over my fathers house or at a guard show as most of you know my parents past away in 2000, Mom in Febuary Dad in October, After their passing the business went to my brother George for many reasons the business failed and George lost my parents house to the bank. One thing my father instilled in me was drive and integrity to stand up for what you believe and to deliver a product when promised, as many of you know my fathers word was gold. He was a perfectionist. I have my own business which was the main reason I was not involved in my dads business I own Miller-Goldstar Printing and Sign Co. a sucessfull business for over 30 years. It sickens me to see what happened to dads business and how it was run into the ground I always wanted to start it over hence the new name "The Original George Miller and Sons Co"
Over the last few years my company has grown been thru some trials (a devastating fire in 2003) But we managed to not only survive but to grow, Some of the new technology used in the sign industry has allowed us to experiment with new ways of building a better rifle, although dads design of the rifle was great the weak area of the stock many times broke due to the fact the product was made from wood, I have a new material and manufacturing process that will ELIMINATE breakage.
I want people to know allthough I am using my fathers name, this business has nothing to do with my brother George or his son George III
I am relocating my printing into a newly renovated facility sometime in October of this year and I am planning on using a portion of the building for retail space for the rifle business, please e mail us with contact info and we'll keep you posted on our progress.
